9 Qs with Ardmore’s Addie Wolf – Presented by RibCrib

Top 100 nominee, Addie Wolf, took the time to answer a few questions about her life and her favorite sport, softball. Addie is a senior at Ardmore High School.

Q: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
A: Softball has taught me that hard work always pays off and to always give 100% in everything you do because you don’t know when it will be your last time.

Q: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
A: People will forget what you said and people will forget what you did, but will never forget the way you made them feel.

Q: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?
A: My favorite part about representing Ardmore as an athlete is seeing a lot of kids get recognition for their accomplishments and supporting them through it all.

Q: Who inspires you and why?
A: Jesus Christ inspires me every single day to live a better life and to be a light to someone that needs it.

Q: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
A: My sister left the biggest impression on me as a teammate. I watched her work hard and really put in so much effort for a team. We grew so much closer playing a sport together.

Q: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you
take with you?
A: I would pick Bora Bora and go with my best friend Meredith. We’ve shared that dream since we met each other in seventh grade. I would bring all my friends that I’ve grown closer to in the past two years.

Q: When and how did you first get into playing your sport?
A: When I was five years old both of my sisters played softball so my mom put me on a boys and girls team with my twin brother.

Q: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
A: My science teacher in seventh and eighth grade at Healdton. Coach Worsham always managed to put me in a better mood and put a smile on my face. He makes everyone around him smile and I learned a lot from him (life wise).

Q: Here is your chance to give a shoutout or say thank you to anyone you wish.
A: Shoutout to God for giving me the ability to play and blessing me with so much. Big thank you to my parents for putting in so many long hours and sacrificing a lot for me to be able to play the sport I love.
