Ardmore eSports athlete Daniel Martinez recently interviewed with VYPE.
VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
My personal goals for this year are to save up enough money to buy a new car and to try and get my ACT score up.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
The most fun I had in the last year has to be when me and my cousins went to play top golf for the first time. None of use knew really knew how to hit the golf ball and it made for some funny moments.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?
My favorite teacher would have to be my 10th grade math teacher Mr. Mike I really liked his class I had a lot of fun in it and learned a lot.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
My favorite athletic memory is when I went to OU for a tournament. It was my first time doing something like that and even though I didn’t get first place. I learned a lot about how the tournaments were run and would like to go back and see how I would do now.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
The teammate that left the biggest impression on me would have to be Thomas he taught me a lot about the game.
VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
My favorite part about be on the team is that I get to play against my friends. I don’t really get to play with them that often and esports give me the chance to do that.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you take with you?
If I could go anywhere for summer vacation and had to take one person. I would pick Mexico so that I can visit my grandma and because I haven’t been to Mexico in a long time and I would take my mom with me because she knows how to do things over their.
VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?
If I got 500 dollars and had to spend it in 24 hours I would use it to get a ps5 so that I can play with my friends.
