Isaiah Hernandez – On the field he has been a dominant force for the last three years. His stat line from last year was amazing. He batted .442, had an OBP of .592, slugging percentage of .550, 68 stolen bases, and 25 walks. Off the field he is a hard worker in everything he does. The best thing about him he has is a 3.8 GPA.
Gio Mendoza – When you see Gio, you’ll probably think he is an upperclassman because of his appearance and his play making ability, but just last season he was a 14 year old kid starting second base in a gauntlet of a 5A district . With respectable programs like Duncan, Noble, Elgin, Lawton Mac, and Carl Albert in Regionals, that’s not an easy task for anyone, especially for a 14 year old kid. He did not shy away from the job that needed to be done.
