Plainview’s Autumn Coenen – Presented by Owens Insurance Agency

VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?

Autumn: I am a junior at Plainview and I run track and I am a competitive cheerleader

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you?

Autumn: A teammate who has left the biggest impression on me was Savannah Sauer, she was on the Plainview track team my freshman year. Savannah was just always so kind and had such a positive outlook on everything.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?

Autumn: Cheerleading isn’t about one person, it’s about a team, so it has taught me that you need to get along and bond with your teammates in order to receive the best results.

VYPE: Who inspires you?

Autumn: My older sister, Maty inspires me more than anyone in my life. She’s smart, very hardworking, and determined in everything she does. She is the most independent person I have ever met and I hope to be half the person she is one day.

VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to?

Autumn: Kaitlyn Wolfpack is probably  one of the most inspiring athletes to me. She cheers on the highest level team at the gym I go to and she also cheers on a popular college cheer team called Navarro. She receives so much hate and rude comments on the internet yet she still continues to cheer her heart out. She is a hard worker and definitely one of the best flyers I have ever seen.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?

Autumn: My favorite teacher throughout highschool would be my sophomore biology teacher,  Mrs. Priest. I just feel like she was good at her job and she was a really nice, relatable person.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Autumn: It would probably be either Paris or Bora Bora, and I would take my best friend, Lyanna.

VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?

Autumn: Outback mac and cheese

VYPE: Here is your chance to give a shoutout or say thank you to anyone you wish.

Autumn: Definitely my parents for always being there to push me and of course without them I would’ve never been able to cheer in the first place.
