MADILL LADY WILDCATS
Coach: CARLOS HUMPHREY
2024-25 Record: 26-3
The Madill Lady Wildcats are starting the new season with momentum and high expectations after an incredible 26–3 campaign last year. Coming off the school’s first-ever trip to the State Tournament and a perfect 10–0 district record, the team is eager to continue building on that success under Head Coach Carlos Humphrey, now in his first season as head coach after four years as an assistant. This season is about sustaining the culture of hard work, accountability, and teamwork while giving younger players opportunities to grow and contribute. The Lady Wildcats are determined to combine experience, talent, and focus to remain a force in the district and beyond.
Senior point guard Miyah Brown (5-5, Sr.) leads the team both on and off the court. Brown is a steady, intelligent floor general who creates opportunities for her teammates and sets the tone with her defensive intensity. She is a three-level scorer who knows how to control the game and has the poise of a college-ready point guard. Alongside her, junior guard Arlette Andrade (5-7, Jr.) provides versatility as both a point guard and shooting guard. Andrade’s athleticism, effort, and ability to defend make her a key contributor in the backcourt, balancing scoring and playmaking with Brown.
In the frontcourt, sophomore forward Chloe Miller (5-8, So.) is continuing to develop her game, showing flashes of athleticism and basketball IQ that will allow her to make a bigger impact as the season progresses. Senior forward/center Allyson Coles (6-2, Sr.) provides a commanding presence inside, rebounding, defending, and scoring near the basket. Her size and experience anchor the Lady Wildcats’ frontcourt. Senior shooting guard Raelee Combs (5-5, Sr.) rounds out the rotation with leadership, perimeter shooting, and a willingness to compete in every situation.
While the team features a mix of young players and seasoned leaders, the Lady Wildcats’ identity is rooted in unselfish basketball, relentless effort, and strong communication. Coach Humphrey emphasizes execution, discipline, and togetherness, creating an environment where players can develop and thrive. With leadership from Brown, Andrade, Coles, and Combs, the Lady Wildcats are ready to compete at the highest level, surprise opponents, and make another deep postseason run while continuing to build a lasting program culture.
