VYPE: When and how did you first get into playing basketball?
Kendre Grant: I believe the first times I started to play basketball I was about 5 or 6.
VYPE: What has basketball taught you that you use in your daily life?
KG: Basketball has taught me that you can’t get comfortable or completely let your guard down against another team.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about playing for the Ardmore Tigers?
KG: My favorite part about playing with the Ardmore Tigers is because of how competitive and how we’re always ready for a challenge.
VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to and why?
KG: Jimmy Butler, mainly because of how he can take over at times when his team needs him and he trusts his teammates.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
KG: My favorite teacher would have to be Mr. Mann from my sophomore year.
VYPE: Which teammate, past or present, has made the greatest impression on you?
KG: Devon MacCollister.
VYPE: What has been your favorite memory of playing?
KG: My favorite thing about playing is that it has brought me to many different places I never
thought I’d be.
VYPE: What is a piece of advice that a coach has given you that you’ll never forget?
KG: During an older game I wasn’t having the greatest first half,my old coach, coach Nall, told me to just relax and score and I had played way better the next half.
VYPE: Who’s your celebrity crush?
KG: And My celebrity crush is Mariah the Scientist.
