Quarterback
Luke Puckett – Healdton
Puckett returns as a productive leader for the Healdton offense after throwing for 900 yards and accounting for 14 total touchdowns. He has shown the ability to make plays through the air while also contributing in multiple ways to the team’s offensive success. Puckett’s experience and playmaking ability will make him an important piece for the Bulldogs this season.
Running Back
Bobby Adams – Wilson
A physical runner whose tough, Adams’ downhill style makes him difficult for defenses to bring down. He approaches every carry with a competitive mindset and is willing to fight for extra yards. Adams has the potential to be a major impact player for Wilson’s offense this season.
Wide Receiver/Tight End
Aybel Shorter – Lone Grove
Shorter is a versatile athlete who gives Lone Grove the flexibility to use him at several different positions. Whether he is lined up at wide receiver, tight end or another spot on the field, he consistently finds a way to make plays and help the team. His dependable approach and ability to adapt make Shorter a valuable piece of the Longhorns’ offense.
Offensive Lineman
Dawson Pass – Marietta
Dawson is a junior offensive lineman who brings physicality and determination to the Marietta front. He takes pride in doing the hard work in the trenches and will be counted on to help create running lanes and protect the quarterback. Pass is expected to be an important part of the Indians’ offensive attack this season.
Defensive Lineman
Hunter Josey – Healdton
Hunter made his presence felt on the Healdton defense with 28 tackles and two forced fumbles. He plays with toughness and a disruptive mindset along the defensive front, giving opponents a challenge on every snap. Josey’s ability to find the football and create turnovers makes him a key returner for the Bulldogs.
Linebacker
Luke Gray – Wilson
Gray is a hard-nosed linebacker who brings energy, toughness and physicality to the Wilson defense. He plays with a relentless motor and is willing to step up against the run or make plays in open space. Gray’s competitive attitude helps set the tone for the Eagles on the defensive side of the ball.
Defensive Back
Tyson Laster – Ardmore
Laster is a four-year starter for the Ardmore Tigers, contributing at both cornerback and slot receiver. He is a dependable, tough competitor who brings experience and consistency to the field each week. Laster has strong ball skills in the air and plays with sound technique in coverage. His work ethic and approach to the game have made him a pleasure for the Ardmore coaching staff to coach.
