VYPE: How long have you played your sport, and what is your position?

Laster: I’ve played football for four years now. I play cornerback and slot.

VYPE: What first got you interested in the sport?

Laster: My brother is the one that really got me interested in football.

VYPE: What is your favorite memory competing?

Laster: My favorite memory competing is our first season opener game of this year against Altus we were down two touchdowns at halftime and we came back out and we never gave up and we were competing and we got the win.

VYPE: Do you have a favorite opponent to compete against? If so, why?

Laster: My favorite opponent to compete against is definitely Ada. I’ve always watched my older brother and my older sister compete against them in every sport and it’s just a big rivalry game.

VYPE: What motivates you to be your best?

Laster: My mother and my brothers and sisters have motivated me a lot to do my best and my Nana had motivated me a bunch, but really my whole family because they believe in me so much.

VYPE: Which teammate is the class clown? Who is the leader?

Laster: Kylen Haskins and Marcus Addision are definitely class clowns and our team leaders are Javon Singleton and me.

VYPE: Do you have a favorite professional or college athlete to watch?

Laster: My favorite college player to watch is Travis Hunter.

VYPE: Is there anyone you look up to as a role model, and why?

Laster: I look up to my older brother and sister, they both are athletes. My sister played college basketball and softball at the Division 2 level and my brother ran track at OU and now plays football at Tabor College. I love that they’ve always worked hard and they always put God first.

VYPE: What are your plans after high school?

Laster: Attend college, play football, and major in Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration.
