2024-25 Record: 4-20
The Sulphur girls’ basketball team enters the new season with confidence and a renewed sense of rhythm, fueled by a blend of hunger, maturity, and a deep commitment to the program’s core values. The Lady Bulldogs pride themselves on chemistry, steady development, and a strong foundation of fundamentals, traits that this year’s roster embraces wholeheartedly.
Led by a mix of seasoned contributors and rising young talent, Sulphur’s lineup features a dynamic group including Kate Woods, Addi Woods, Kytley Tully, Serenity Jackson, Kynlee Torres, Hailey Beesley, Jayden Lee, Amaurie Peters, Brilee Peters, Hattie Stiffler, Hannah Williams, and Aniyah Maul. Coaches say this balance of experience and youthful energy has created the kind of competitive environment that elevates the entire team.
Many of these players made significant strides last season and spent the offseason sharpening their shooting, improving conditioning, and growing into more vocal leaders. That work is already showing. Practices are faster, spacing is cleaner, and the group demonstrates a unified understanding of how to control the pace of a game.
Unselfish basketball remains a cornerstone of Sulphur’s program. Quick passing, smart cuts, disciplined defense, and constant communication continue to be emphasized daily. Coaches note that this group takes pride in being difficult to outwork and in upholding the tradition of toughness and togetherness that defines Lady Bulldog basketball.
As the new season begins, the team carries a clear belief that their potential grows with every practice. With a strong culture and a roster committed to improving, the Lady Bulldogs are determined to add another impressive chapter to Sulphur’s basketball legacy.
